Life on the Water

Sailing and windsurfing are more than hobbies - they're how I recharge, find perspective, and connect with nature.

Why I Sail

There's a unique clarity that comes from being on the water. When you're sailing, the only things that matter are the wind, the waves, and your next move. It's the perfect antidote to the complexity of building software and leading teams.

I started sailing years ago and quickly became hooked. The combination of physical skill, reading conditions, and making quick decisions appeals to my engineering mindset. Windsurfing added another dimension - it's more immediate, more physical, and the feedback loop is instant.

Whether it's a calm day of cruising or challenging conditions that test your skills, every session on the water teaches you something new about patience, adaptability, and respect for forces beyond your control.
